about

This is an album, as much as any of my other albums. That being said, this one was made with less intention. Additionally, it is loaded with unclearable samples, so this will likely never be on streaming services in an unedited form.

Some notes: I love Ice-T. I think he is probably the single coolest dude on planet Earth and I hope my use of this old a cappella he did in the 80s is seen as the homage it is, and not outright robbery. Garbage is cool too, and they make an appearance on this record.

Thanks to Freddie for taking my idea of riffing on "6 'N The Mornin'" and running with it. Eternally one of my favorite people to make music with.

So yeah, enjoy. Call it a beat tape, call it a demo, call it an album. It doesn't matter. There will probably be a third in this series soon.

"Figure 17 - A research volunteer at NYU learns to relax by listening to the clicks she hears in the earphones every time her forehead muscle contracts. When this happens, it generates a very small electric voltage which is sensed by the metal contacts seen attached to the subject's forehead. These voltages are fed into a special amplifier which filters out those signals which are irrelevant and then multiplies the muscle voltages enough to create a clicking sound in the earphones. In that way the subject hears even the most insignificant changes in her muscle tension."
